Sarah Coates is a food writer, stylist, photographer and author, who has been living it up in the food world since 2012. Her debut cookbook titled The Sugar Hit! is out now, published by Hardie Grant, and was an exploration of sheer unadulterated joy through food.

Sarah has written (and photographed) extensively for Broadsheet, helping them build their Brisbane business portfolio prior to the 2016 launch. Her work has also appeared on delicious.com.au, JamieOliver.com, Food52, The Urban List, Kidspot and The Huffington Post. She has also appeared on Brisbane radio station 4KQ to chat about her work.
Sarah also develops recipes for publications and brands. She has worked closely with Australian brand Queen Fine Foods, creating numerous recipes for their products, as well as others such as Dr Oetker, and Kidspot. Sarah is also a regular recipe contributor to the Australian magazine, Lunchlady.
